Haitian Creole
Tuesday, June 24th, 2008Haitian Creole, or simply Creole, is one of Haiti’s two official languages. Almost everybody in Haiti speaks it. If you’re travelling to Haiti, it might be a good idea to pick up a few bits of this very interesting and nice sounding language. People everywhere love it, when you’re able to speak in their own language. You are received a lot better and meet more local people that way!
Creole is also spoken in many other countries, like Canada, the United States, Venezuela, France, and many Caribbean nations, especially the Dominican Republic, Cuba, and the Bahamas.
