NIV Dramatized Complete Audio Bible - Special Offer

Monday, March 3rd, 2008

An audio bible can help you with your bible studies. Find more time to listen to the bible when commuting or doing manual work.

An audio bible on CD is expensive, to hold the entire Scripture many CD’s are needed, and to take these along with you all the time is not very practical.

The new NIV Dramatized audio bible is the better alternative, and a much more affordable alternative at that. The NIV bible is today’s most read, most trusted translation.

The multiple-voice dramatization brings the Bible to life with world-class narration and colorful, true-to-the-text character renderings. The fully orchestrated background with sound effects provides further enhancement. So that you immediately find what you want to listen to, the downloadable version includes a tracklist on downloadable pdf.

Whilst the physical New International Version Bible costs USD 99, you may download this NIV bible for only USD 30.76. You save and pay less than one third of the physical price.

Listen to a short sound sample here and download your own NIV bible now:

Communicating with Teens

Wednesday, March 21st, 2007

Teens are people who are at a personal intersection in their life with many forks and possibilities where to continue their life’s flow. Problem is, they don’t really know yet, so they’ll have to try. And we adults think they should not try but simply listen to us old ones…

Conflict is preprogrammed all the way and in many familes the up to then so harmonious family life is all of a sudden in turmoil and communication slowly or rapidly goes down the drain. Not good and not really necessary. Yes, there will be discussions and disputes with your teenager, that’s OK. But it does not need to end in final and total disagreement, constant fights etc.

I have rencently listened to three excellent audio books that give some really good tips and examples how teenagers and their parents can deal with each other:

All three audiobooks should be listened to by parents and teenagers. Why not give one of these to your teen so that he or she can listen to these tips on their iPod?

WMA Books - Audios That Play On Your PC Or Laptop

Thursday, February 8th, 2007

Did you know that you can make your PC read you a book, or your laptop? Just like good old Grandma used to tell you fairy tales and legends, you can now get your PC or Laptop to read you detective stories, romance novels, or self-help books!

Plenty of New York Times Bestseller authors have audio books published, so if you lack the time to read, why not listen to an audio book as you drive to work?

The WMA format allows these WMA books to play on the Windows Mediaplayer. Professional narrators make the text come alive and it’s a real pleasure to listen to!

Obviously you can also easily burn these WMA books to CD, transfer them into an MP3 file and upload it to your MP3 player, the Zune, or through the iTune Manager add them to your iPod. Plenty of possiblities!

Read Books When Driving? Look For Audio Books!

Monday, February 5th, 2007

Find audio books. Printed books are beautiful, we love them, but can you read a book and drive? Some people think they can, and how that ends we don’t really want to tell here…..

To download an audio book and have it ready to listen to when you drive is the smarter solution!

With audiobooks you can use otherwise dull time to get entertained. Or you could be learning a foreign language for instance. It’s also a lot easier to have audio files that you can load on to your MP3 player, rather than having to lug CDs and a bulky CD player.

Valentine Poems - Download the Audio File for iPod and MP3

Saturday, January 27th, 2007

This year, Valentine will be different for many. Instead of just flowers, chocolate, perfume and whatever else is given on Valentine, many will recieve a Valentines poem collection that can be loaded on the iPod or MP3 player. Your Valentine will be listening to these poems forever - well, maybe that’s a slight exageration - hearing romantic words, selected and offered by you.

Valentine is for lovers. But expressing the feelings of love, the appreciation for the other, the love and emotions - all that is difficult to put into the right words. Writing a Valentines card can be quite a chore…

If you’re short of words, there is a solution: Poets and song writers have spent hours perfecting their poems to tell their love how much they appreciate them, how much they mean for them and how they can not live without them. They did that in much more poetic words than what I write here.

Valentines poems can be downloaded as audio files that fit on a cell phone, iPod or MP3 player. The collection ‘A Dozen Red Roses: 12 Valentines Poems‘ is my favourite, it contains a wide variety of different poems, you can be sure that they will touch the right cords. These twelve poems can also be downloaded individually, making them a nice and not too expensive gift to add to chocolates, flowers or any other, more conventional gifts.

It is easy and only takes a few minutes to upload the audio files with the Valentines poems to the iPod or MP3 player. Your Valentine will have these files with her / him forever to listen to your precious gift whenever they feel like it and miss you!

P.S: If you have a site that caters to Valentine and lovers, why not join the affiliate program for the AudioBooksCorner and offer these files from your site too?

Learn English and Learn Spanish

Thursday, January 25th, 2007

To learn English or to learn Spanish? Both languages are major languages and many million people speak them. With both languages you can move in large parts of the world and get by.

Well, it really depends what your goal is and exactly where you will end up travelling, working and living. Whichever of the two languages will give you better value, it will still take effort to learn them. If you’re going to have to speak with people in Mexico, Middle and South America, then Spanish ist the choice.

If on the other hand you are going to be moving in predominantly English speaking countries, like the UK, the U.S.A., Australia, Europe and many South East Asian countries, then English will bring you further. A very good start are the Pimsleur language courses in English for speakers of foreign languages:

They are easy to use and very convenient because of the method and the media: The method is very simple to implement: Listen to the audio often and many times. The media are downloadable audio books, that can be played on a PC, laptop, iPod or other MP3 player and even on some of the newer cell phones.

Take the lessons along, listen to them often and your brain does the rest!

New York Times Best Seller Authors

Monday, January 22nd, 2007

Many of the New York Times Best Seller Authors offer their books also as downloadable audios. If you are one of the many avid readers who simply don’t manage to keep up with all the new books appearing every week, this may be a way to ‘read’ a few more of them.

How much time do you spend, driving, travelling, waiting, doing manual chores that leave plenty of space in your brain to be able to listen to a book well told?

Well, why not try an audio book of a New York Times Best Seller Author?

You can load these audio books on your PC, laptop, MP3 player, some mobile phones or burn it to CD and play it in your car audio system.

Crime and Thriller Audio Books

Sunday, January 14th, 2007

The main site with the products - i.e. the audio books - for the affiliate program starts to pick up speed real nice. Writing an occasional blog entry and having a few domains up that point to the great crime audio books that can be downloaded from there starts to get results.

Affiliates start to build their web pages with the program too. We see a lot more activity and the first sales by affiliates come in as well. I’ll start an ‘friends of AudioBooksCorner’ page with links out to them next week.

We have a lot of New York times bestseller authors in the program. I’m trying to list some of them too and link in to the site, this will get some additional traffic. One thing I know is that I’ll become one of my own best customer, these audios are great!

It’s Sunday evening, so I keep this post short, more next week!
