The main site with the products - i.e. the audio books - for the affiliate program starts to pick up speed real nice. Writing an occasional blog entry and having a few domains up that point to the great crime audio books that can be downloaded from there starts to get results.

Affiliates start to build their web pages with the program too. We see a lot more activity and the first sales by affiliates come in as well. I’ll start an ‘friends of AudioBooksCorner’ page with links out to them next week.

This being just before Christmas, there were a few other things to do, but I managed to load up an other set of nice looking audio books pages. This time it’s a mix of Romance audio books, Thriller, Crime, Horror and Radio Shows, with a few historical audio books and classic literature audios thrown in.

I think they look fine, but I’ll need to create a few more header banners, right now they are all under the ‘Romance’ header, not very good for Crime and Thriller audios or the Radio Shows. The Radio shows are mostly from BBC Audiobooks, thus it’s British humor and comedy.

Well, I presume Google, Yahoo and MSN let their spiders roam also during the holiday season, so I’m eager to see how long it’ll take for these pages to show up.

Now, maybe this is just the initial listing rush and we’ll be shoved back into nowhere - I don’t know but I certainly hope not. But as an initial result, this is quite good.

I’ll keep on building audio books pages to see how well other sets will be taken up. Also I recommend to our affiliates to either integrate audio book content into existing pages and maybe even build an audio books section on the specific topic of their web site. If you’re linking back in to the home page of the site from these audio book pages, or even better, if you’re linking to an other domain with the same topic, this will also help your SE rankings.

I’ve set up this site to show you how easy it is to build great niche sites for audio books.
